Change Orders – How Subcontractors Can Avoid Risks (Webinar)
Video Presentation Hosted by Levelset.com
Subcontractors, Change Orders, and Risk Mitigation
Katz law partnered with Levelset to present a free webinar presentation on change orders in construction titled “Change Orders: How Subcontractors Can Avoid Risks & The Potential For Costly Lawsuits,” presented on Thursday, 09/24/2020.
Change orders often produce risky terrain for subcontractors to navigate without legal advice. Fortunately, subcontractors have several legal tools at their disposal to deal with change orders while mitigating risks. While nothing beats having a skilled construction law attorney review your materials, there are many simple methods of mitigating many of the risks inherent in change orders.
Throughout this presentation, construction law attorney Joseph Katz makes several references to templates & language materials that may be beneficial for subcontractors to utilize within their change order procedures – to mitigate risks and avoid any potential for costly lawsuits. You may find those templates & language documents – as well as the PPT of Joe’s presentation – below. Everything is entirely free for you to download and utilize within your own construction projects.
We hope you find value in these resources.
